Constructed mainly of plywood and registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles, the piece is simply a shell that imitates a pop-up camper folded in for transport and does not function as modular domestic space. I drag the object behind my car through the streets of my day-to-day life and take on only the burdens associated with owning an RV - maneuverability, safety, storage, lowered fuel economy and minor maintenance.
